In Marketing and Advertising Management you will look at real life marketing situations, learn to conduct market research through focus groups and surveys, and use that information to build marketing, business, and public relations plans. Emphasis is placed on developing your written and oral communication skills through group work and presentations. Throughout the program, you will build your network of contacts during industry-events and an on the job training placement. Students and graduates are in demand for the marketing skills they acquire, especially in digital marketing as it applies to small business. Upon graduation, you’ll be ready to enter the workforce or continue your education through a degree pathway.

- Grade 12 or equivalent with credits at or above the general level
- Résumé including work and volunteer experience with applicable dates, membership in groups, associations or athletics, awards and distinctions, and any other information about yourself relevant to the program.

The National Occupational Classification (NOC) is the nationally accepted reference on occupations in Canada. It organizes over 40,000 job titles into 500 occupational group descriptions. It is used daily by thousands of people to compile, analyze and communicate information about occupations, and to understand the jobs found throughout Canada’s labour market. This program provides skills training that falls within the duties described in the following: NOC 1123.
